Pattern Practice in the Cirrus SR20
Monday, June 27, 2011 at 12:56PM This is another video shot during pattern practice at Norwood. This day, winds were light out of the east so we were using runway 10 with its dramatically displaced threshold. The first trip around is shown in its entirety, but the next three start on the downwind where things get more interesting. Early in each pass you get a nice view of Boston in the distance. Also worth noting is the fact that the Cessna I sometimes fly 13151 is in the pattern as well at the same time, often chasing me around! There is some good ATC audio to listen to here and the chance to experience (once again) a little pattern practice. Generally the landings get better as I go, with one of the middle ones being the most firm. The last one was sweet and made for a nice reason to wrap it up for the day.
